MFG Baden-Württemberg has implemented numerous projects and programmes over the course of its 15-year history, some of which have been completed in the meantime. Documentation on the most recent is stored here in the archive. FITT

The project FITT (Fostering Interregional Exchange in ICT Technology Transfer), supported by the European Union, aims at closing the gap between ICT research and the market. CReATE

Since March 2008, the CReATE project consortium has been developing strategies to improve cooperation at both regional and European levels to enhance the innovative capabilities of small- and medium-sized companies from the creative sector.

VoiceS

The project VoiceS promoted a dialogue between citizens from European regions and "their" regional policy makers in the European Parliament. VoiceS was a project that integrates semantics, social software and serious games into e-participation.

klick – mach mit!

'klick - mach mit!' was initiated by the non-profit foundation Baden-Württemberg Stiftung in 2006 and was managed by MFG Baden-Württemberg. It was an innovative digital literacy programme addressing citizens who are not quite media-savvy on a large-scale in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Baden-Württemberg goes mobile

Until the end of 2009 MFG Baden-Württemberg was looking for smartphone applications which have been developed by pupils, students, young professionals, start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises and other creative people from Baden-Württemberg.

Creativity World Forum 2009

The Creativity World Forum 2009 was the annual main event of the international "Districts of Creativity" network. On two congress days, more than 2,000 creative people and decision-makers discussed current questions focussing on the subjects of creativity, technology, digitalisation and globalisation.

KREATEK

KREATEK was a multi-phase project: Starting point was the support of developing cluster initiatives in IT and creative industries. In the second stage support tools for young cluster initiatives have been designed and implemented.

FAZIT

From 2005 until the start of 2009, FAZIT has focused on the identification of new markets for innovative IT and media technologies. It also has examined the perspectives for future IT and media trends with a regional relevance.

VoicE

EU legislation in the area of consumer protection is hardly comprehensible for many consumers and raises a multitude of questions. Via the e-participation platform VoicE citizens had the chance to discuss current topics linked to consumer protection with their representatives in Brussels.

Regional competition InternetDorf

The regional competition InternetDorf has been announced for the first time in 1999. The goal of the competition was to enhance the quality of municipal websites, the development and the divulgence of innovative Internet services and IT applications as well as the support of the extension of e-government within the councils.

Innovationsprogramm Web 2.0

The aim of the so-called innovation programme web 2.0 was to point out economic and social potential of web 2.0 applications for industry and public sectors alike. Via events and working groups MFG introduced the topic to different target groups and tried to initiate new projects here to enhance the forward compatibility of Baden-Württemberg.

do it.konferenz 2008

Four congresses have been concentrated with the do it.konferenz 2008 being a large networking platform for the IT and creative industries in Baden-Württemberg. For two days the International Congress Center Stuttgart belonged to IT thought leaders and decision makers from science, economy and politics.

FoCus

FoCus aimed at fostering synergies between public policies in support of e-business for SMEs to create networks of e-business know-how across national borders. The follow-up project of SYNEBIS facilitated the exchange of best practices in policy measures in the field of e-business.

SPreaD

SPreaD was aimed at structuring and making available experiences from broad-based education programmes in the field of digital literacy in the business world and local communities. The consortium established a Europe-wide network of experienced regional, national and European education partners to ensure the toolkit’s quality.

SYNEBIS

SYNEBIS (Synergies between Public Policies in Support of E-Business for SMEs) collected and evaluated initiatives established by public institutions to foster IT and e-business in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

EPROC

EPROC (Public Sector E-Procurement Project) was a collaborative European initiative with partners from Germany, Holland, Ireland and Wales. The aim of the project was to encourage and support SMEs in the more rural areas to adopt new e-procurement processes and tools.

do it.regional

The action programme do it.regional was a support programme of the Ministry for Nutrition and Rural Regions Baden-Württemberg (MLR). 23 innovative pilot projects were supported altogether to stabilise the rural regions.

TASK

TASK was aimed at cooperation between software enterprises, to strengthen software supply chains and to network those companies with others from application sector. Therefore, three working groups were established.
