FORT supports the development of skills for dissemination and application of research results by creating an organizational culture that is positively aligned toward innovation. To achieve this,  the consortium creates transnational innovation networks and cooperations, supported by activities such as pilot projects, cross-innovation vouchers and training workshops.

MFG´s part MFG acts as an Innovation hub which offers services and trainings to local stakeholders. Additionally, MFG arranges Innovation events (such as the Innovation Open House Events and the Innovation system forum) in which players from business and science are connected with each other. Furthermore, cooperation and exchange between transnational Innovation labs are coordinated.
