klick – mach mit!

'klick - mach mit!' was initiated by the non-profit foundation Baden-Württemberg Stiftung in 2006 and was managed by MFG Baden-Württemberg. It was an innovative digital literacy programme addressing citizens who are not quite media-savvy on a large-scale in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Project aim 'klick - mach mit!' was targeted at Baden-Württemberg's citizens who already have a basic knowledge of the Internet, in other words they know how to use a search engine, write and send an e-mail and know about the different file types that exist. The courses were designed to familiarise participants with more advanced Internet applications with the aim to strengthen digital literacy in the region in a sustainable way and supporting users in their private and professional everyday lives.

They teached practical skills such as how to search for information on the web, write online job applications, organise clubs and societies more efficiently or make use of new Internet services in public administration.
MFG's part MFG Baden-Württemberg managed the regional project partners and was responsible for the coordination and development of the programme 'klick- mach mit!'. MFG worked in cooperation with regional institutions from the field of training and education as well as from the public and private sector.
