SYNEBIS (Synergies between Public Policies in Support of E-Business for SMEs) collected and evaluated initiatives established by public institutions to foster IT and e-business in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

All results have been summarised in a wiki, elaborated in regional workshops and cross-checked for their usability in other countries. Based on this, potential to optimise single regional initiatives was identified. In turn, small and medium-sized companies in all regions profited from that.
