The project "DIGITRANS – Digital Transformation in the Danube Region" analyses how innovation methods can promote the development of new business models that are flexible enough to easily adapt to the constantly changing market conditions. Currently there exists a variety of approaches to develop innovative, digital business models, e.g. Design Thinking, Business Model Canvas or Blue Ocean Strategy. Within DIGITRANS a new method uptaking these approaches will be developed and tested to address the specific needs of small and medium sized companies as well as start-ups. In cooperation with 17 partners from 9 countries from the Danube region learning materials will be developed and incorporated into an e-learning platform. Furthermore, face-to-face trainings will be offered to SMEs within the partner regions.
