DMMA OnlineStar

In 2010 DMMA OnlineStar got established as a result of merging the German Multimedia Award DMMA and the OnlineStar. From 1996 until 2009 DMMA was awarded to creative online and offline projects by BVDW (Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V.) and MFG Baden-Württemberg. Out of more than 5,000 submissions about 150 projects were awarded. Organised by publishing group Ebner Ulm, the OnlineStar was awarded from 2007 until 2009 for excellent projects in online marketing.

By merging the two awards, the DMMA OnlineStar is now the most important prize for creative minds in the digital economy. The competition is organised by BVDW (Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V.) and MFG Baden-Württemberg awarding innovative and powerful concepts and realisation in the field of multimedia-based communication.

Project aim The DMMA OnlineStar sets new creative standards in the field of multimedia-based communication. The distinguished results point out how creative target group oriented communication with new media could look like. The target is to create a marketing platform for innovative and outstanding agency efforts with trendsetting potential and to enable the linking of creative industries in Baden-Württemberg and leading players of the digital economy in Germany.
MFG's part MFG Baden-Württemberg, Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V. and the publishing group Ebner Ulm are equal partners of the DMMA OnlineStar. By the announcement of the competition, MFG is positioning themselves as joint organiser of one of the most important creative awards in the digital economy in Germany.
