| Project aim | A state-wide initiative that strengthens the media literacy of persons in charge and therefore as well those of children and teenagers is the basis of having a well-educated and future-oriented young generation in Baden-Württemberg. The Internet platform www.kindermedienland-bw.de allows parents and teachers to educate themselves through well sorted information and overview presentations of different topics of media literacy. As a result children and teenagers benefit of informed and interested persons in charge and the high-quality education they can give. |
| MFG's part | MFG Baden-Württemberg is one of the project partners and responsible for developing and operating the platform www.kindermedienland-bw.de that is the main part of the initiative. MFG is also responsible for organising and running the Kindermedienland school competition, that encourages students to create competition entries by using modern media that deals with developing their own media literacy. |
