OERup!

OERup! takes up the need of promoting and fostering successful implementation of practices with OER in adult learning institutions in Europe. The core of OERup! will be the development and testing of a training package consisting of a blended-learning training concept and material on the topic of OER, addressing European AEI (its management, staff and teachers).

This training package will

  • inform about the general principles, and new developments of OER with a special focus on pedagogical concepts on how to integrate OER production and use in the lessons plan,
  • take up necessary specific tools and skills needed to create OER,
  • and discover on the basis of practice examples how OER can be successfully integrated in the business concept of adult education institutions.

Project aim The aim is to raise awareness of the value to be derived from OER, as well as to support an OER-friendly environment in education institutions to widen participation in Open Education.
MFG's part Representing Baden-Württemberg, MFG will develop a regional analysis of the current uptake of OER and the needs of the adult education institutions of this region. The project primarily addresses these institutions with the objective to improve their level of key digital competences and skills, to foster a modern and innovative environment within the organization, and finally to increase a sense of initiative and new entrepreneurial business creation among adult education institutions in Baden-Württemberg. The European scope of the project provides Baden-Württemberg with access to experiences with OER of actors and stakeholders across the border.
